I got a new monitor for Christmas!
I was using a 15″ CRT that was getting dim.
This is the first time I’ve ever had a brand new, never before been touched by another person after it rolled off the factory line monitor.
It’s a 19″ widescreen LCD monitor and…wow…
I’d forgotten that there are colors and details and stuff. It’s kind of like getting a new glasses prescription! 
I also got lots of other stuff, which I will detail later if I remember to do so. If I don’t, well, it’s all really cool. I promise.
I am privileged to have seen said monitor, and am pleased to report it is indeed boo-tee-ful!
I am ready for pictures of the “other cool stuff” now.
