It’s got a bit of red to it, too. Not sure you can really see it in this picture, especially since I’m wearing a red sweater.
Foo’s Fabulous Frozen Custard
Yesterday I got the chance to visitFoo’s Fabulous Frozen Custard. It’s located on the NE corner of 95th and Mission in Leawood, KS.
They serve coffee, sandwiches, very tasty custard and Christopher Elbow Chocolates.
Now, as some of you might know, I am fond of chocolate. But Christopher Elbow Chocolates? Best in the KC area. Forget your Russell Stovers and Andres, Christopher Elbow is smooth, delicious and has fun flavors. Pardon me, I need to go inhale the fumes from the chocolates I got yesterday…
*ahem*
Their sandwiches are pretty basic, but good. They use Great Harvest bread, conveniently baked about 12 streets due north of Foo’s. I had a ham sandwich and it had about an inch of ham on it. You will not be hungry when you leave Foo’s if you get a sandwich!
I highly recommend a visit to Foo’s if you are in JoCo. I’m definitely planning on making several return visits (seriously, not JUST because of the presence of Christopher Elbow chocolates).
Busy Day
I have a busy day planned. Must be why all I want to do is sit at home and watch WKRP re-runs (I need a hat!) and cheesy movies.
Hot chocolate…
Fresh-baked bread…
Um, I’m going out why, again?
Find Me Online
I decided to be a bit of a nerd and share some of the other ways you can find me online. Check out the Social Butterfly page on my website!
RSS Feed
I’ve changed my RSS feed to FeedBurner because I want to be all nerdy and see how many people subscribe and what they use to view it in. If you are following me in RSS, please change your feed to:

I think I may need to break down and make soup. This sounds really good!
Recipes/Food Blog
I want to create a blog for storing recipes that I either use or want to use, but I am having problems coming up with a name. I asked on Twitter, and while I got lots of amusing suggestions from Tom, none of them really seemed to work for me (sorry, Tom). Any suggestions? I just know that Terri has some suggestions.
Speaking of contributions, does anybody have any recipes I need to try or food porn pictures for me to admire/post? I would be open to sharing the blog with others if anyone else wants to join me in foodie fun.
