So, what did I end up doing?

Thursday: Sat on my ass and read questionablecontent.com all day. Very satisfying. Then went out and picked up cat food and a Papa Murphy’s pizza with my sister, brother-in-law and niece. While eating pizza, we watched the Robin Hood episodes we had saved up. Excellent cheese factor on that show.

Friday: Lunch with Grandma at Olive Garden, very yummy. We then went to Half-Price bookstore where I traded in half a tub of books to get $21 towards my $28 purchase. Book nerd? Yes. We then cleaned my kitchen and I tackled part of the computer/dining room area. Later that evening, we went bowling. Would have been a lot more fun if it weren’t for the screeching, squealing tweens two lanes over. *sigh* At least we’ve got at least ten years before Lily gets obnoxious like that. I hope. Oh god…

Saturday: BIRTHDAY!!! Lunch with Mom at Houilihan’s in Fairway. I think the average age in there was 62. We then went to The Studio, where I picked up my baseball tickets for Stitch & Pitch and chatted with Andrea. We then headed over to Cottage Fiber where Mom bought me some fun roving as a birthday present. Back home again to hang out with Jess and Aaron for a bit and then go to Bangkok Pavilion.

Sunday: Absofreakinglutely nothing. Wonderful, I tell you. I’ve not changed out of my PJs all day. I’ve just been reading, watching TV and spinning. There might have been a bit of cooking, too. I tried out a bread baker that I picked up on Etsy, made cupcakes and pudding pops. I may make macaroni later, if I don’t slow down.

  1. Sounds like you’ve had a bee-u-tiful weekend. A little productive labor, a little fun, a lot of relaxing, and a lot of good food! Always good to have a break in the action of life.
